Default Power window grimmlins

i know there mite be threads about this problem but i cant seem to find my specific problem, my passenger window switch will push it up but not down the driver side switch wont move it at all but works with every other window fine what can i do to attemp to fix it i pulled the motor and hard wired it and it worked fine and the lock is off but still cant lower my passenger window pleeeeease help me

Sounds like a bad switch to me... Take a multi meter and check it. And blast it with some electrical cleaner before you replace, That may help.

i bought it from a guy who said it was a 98 and dmv and the title says its a 99
