i recently purchased a 1984 cherokee. it has kept me quite entertained. my question is the power steerin pulley is al crooked. PO installed poorly made bushings to help align it. any how he flimsy little bracket broke so im wondering if anyone out there has any suggestions on beefing up the thing.

 

go to Junkyard and get CORRECT, brackets. Pull and if not damaged repress the pulley on straight.

 

all the brakets are facotory wondering if it is not the right pump

 

Buy a new PS pump & pulley?
