so my 01 cherokee is turning hard and makes a whining sound like the wheels have reached their maximum turing radius when i turn the wheel slightly. I checked all lines and fluid level everything seems to be fine. I think its the pump how can i tell if its the pump or the steering box?And if it is the pump do i need to purchase a pump with or without the resevoir or does it make no difference? thanks for your time.

 

Yeah mine just started to turn kinda hard too..fluid levels are all good, hoping its not the pump....any advice would be great!

 

i hope it is the pump and not the steering box pumps are pretty much free compared to a 400 dollar steering box fix
