So my power steering pump has been leaking so my son & I popped everything off and got a new pump & hoses.
Here is the issue.
We forgot to take a pic or note which hose when into which opening on the steering box.
After some searching around here it looked like the high pressure hose goes to the one closest to the front/radiator and the return/low pressure towards the steering wheel.

The reason I am asking is that the fluid is turning into white foam and the pump is making noise.
I left the return off and ran some fluid through to flush the system and we did replace the lower radiator hose but I tried to make sure we didn't get any water in the box.

Thoughts?
Do I have the lines reversed?
Did I get water and I need to keep flushing fluid through?

thanks in advance for this great resource
enjoy

Don't know if this will help, it's of a '99 configuration.
