I am original owner of a 91 Jeep Cherokee Limited with 245K miles.

Does anyone have experience troubleshooting Power seats. The passenger electric seat stopped working about a year ago. This is the only power seat I have because the original driver's seat was replaced with non electric bucket years ago.

I have replaced fuse/circuit breaker in box. ANy likely problem areas

 

Did it quit moving in all directions?? Could be the motor....

 

Does it still have the trim in place under the seat? Underneath toward the front of the seat is a 2 wire connection that gets broken or frayed over time, harder to see when the big trim peice on the front is in place. Other than that there is the wiring between the button panel and the motor.

 

Oh, and I have an extra in the garage if you need pictures or motor button wiring questions
