Hey. Two questions;
So my driver seat is not moving and i have no way of re-adjusting it but i can on the pass. the fuse is good and the plug is good, what else could possibly be the reason or the problem for me to check out so i can get my power seat working again.......

Also i am about to get my 8.8 i found in the jy should i get the 6 cylinder or the 8 cylinder? Whats the difference? Also whats the best year exploder to get this doner axle. the JY has em from 96-99 i believe. just a few things to help my search thanks all.

If the fuse is good and the plug connection is good, then that leaves either a bad motor, bad switch, or a bad wire.

As far as the 8.8 is concerned I do not know of a difference between the 6 and 8 cyl versions. Go for the newer one because it will have disc brakes which will improve the stopping ability of your XJ with larger tires.

 

I vote switch or supply to it. There is more than one motor. They both couldn't have quite at the same time.
