Power Seat Motor
Hey guys, so the other day I was cleaning out my jeep, I moved the passenger seat forward and when I went to move it back it wouldn't do anything. It would continue to move forward but would not move back. All other functions on the seat would work except going backwards (it is a power seat if you haven't figured that out yet). I am fairly new mechanic and am not really sure if the white motor needs to be replaced or if I need to try to figure out if there is an electrical problem (something that I'm not too confident at).
The jeep is a 90 xj 6 cylinder. Any help would be much appreciated.

usually when one direction goes bad, its either a contact within the switch or the motor could be on its way. You can disconnect the switch and use jumpers to a battery to test each one
