My driver seat has stopped working. Can anybody help? I can hardly fit and I am not a big guy?

 

is it just the drivers side?
check the connector at the harness, under the seat.

 

I just bought it last weekend and hadnt had time to check the other side because of work and plus its sitting at my buddies place with my other xj.

 

if you have electric locks do they work?

mine hasnt worked either since i got it, my electric locks dont work either so id assume they are connected somewhere at a fuse? i havnt been able to find anything wrong. sorry for the hi jack, back to your problems...

 

Yeah my door locks work but the damn seats in both of the xjs stopped working. I will rig something up.

 

same thing happened to me my power seats never worked when i bought the thing and I messed around with the fuses and they still didnt work. so I just figured that it was something with the wiring so I clipped the connection from underneath the seat and ran new wires direct to the battery and threw a fuse in there and they work just fine.
