I have a 98 xj and the locks are working by themselves if i pull the 50 amp fuse under the hood marked Battery Acc it will stop . It is pulling approx 00.40 amps when fuse is in place . There is a spot on the wiring harness that must have burnt before i bought it I cannot find any bad or bare wires there yet .( any where else to look )

The jeep has a keyless entry would any one know where the module would be located it might be shorting out there to .The fob battery is also dead if it even works ?

 

Yep, the keyless entry module lives in the ceiling lamp. Pop the cover off and unplug it
