Default Power Inverter?

Im looking for a good power inverter to hook up in my xj... i want to be able to run some light power tools and maybe some work lights nothing too huge i want to hard wire it and mount it in the cargo area under a false floor any good ideas for the inverter i need any pics or help on wiring it thanks guys!!!!!

this isnt my post, but i did similar with the same model inverter.
i havent been able to use it as much as i want, but everytime i did use it, it has been great with no problems

gosh dang it, ive been trying to find that link for like an hour now... i was trying to find it for the OP but couldnt remember where it was and didnt know exactly what to search for... Good Job.

haha yea, i remember seeing it to because its what made me get one and i knew it was something about mods but just did a search for inverter and looked for one that was many pages long.

thanks for the awesome help as always i love this site one question tho can u connect it directly to the battery or should u hook it up to ignition? and how bad of a drain is it on the battery? thanks for the help guys!!!!

i hooked it up straight to the battery with 2awg wire. Theres an on and off switch on the inverter itself so it wont drain the battery.

are you able to just ground the negative? or do you nee to run both to the battery

for the 2 main leads for the inverter, definitely go to the battery. on the inverter i got, there was a 2nd small ground that i just ran to one of the bolts that hold the passenger seat down.
