Default Power Door locks on older jeeps

My 89 does not work with the power door locks, the switch moves but the lock's stay in place.. is this due to bad wiring? or weather?

I ask because i read a writeup about using relays to bump the voltage back up to 12v.. anyone tried this? or is there another fix?

Check the fuse first.

Have you pulled all the QDs and sprayed Contax into them? If you bathe them in electrical contact cleaner, you might be surprised at how well they work.

Mine was like that I just replaced all the switches..But my switches do not open the drivers or lock the drivers door but fine on the other 3.. As for a fuse if it was a bad one more then the power door locks wouldn't work.
