Power Door locks on older jeeps
My 89 does not work with the power door locks, the switch moves but the lock's stay in place.. is this due to bad wiring? or weather?
I ask because i read a writeup about using relays to bump the voltage back up to 12v.. anyone tried this? or is there another fix?

no but all 5 dont work and both drive/passenger buttons go up and down with no result.. the guy i baught it from origonally said that they work fine. I dont think there is much to that system on the jeep so was hoping for an easy day lol

Mine was like that I just replaced all the switches..But my switches do not open the drivers or lock the drivers door but fine on the other 3.. As for a fuse if it was a bad one more then the power door locks wouldn't work.
