Is there a way to fix my power door locks? They work when they want and flawlessly but sometimes I just hear a clicking in passenger side switch and nothing locks?

I have the same issue except mine don't work at all just the click noise.

 

My passenger door works when it wants to and only the drivers panel can control the windows in mine. From what ive read its probably in the wires going into the bottom of the doors. They get weak form bending when the door opens and closes and eventually break. Also read that dirty contact points on the switches will cause them to not work

 

I've done this on both mine and my brothers Cherokee and it fixed both of them.

 

That link did help me with my window problem but the locks are still an issue.. Did it about 3 weeks ago everyone is happy they control their own windows now

 

My driver's side front door locks and unlocks as it should, when the door panel is off. When the door panel is on, it stays unlocked. I can't even use the key to lock the door with the panel on. What should I check for? Is there a spring on the locking mechanism?
