I need to run, well want to run additional accessories. What is the best way to run power from the battery to a distribution point, for items like additional power outlets, GPS, ect...

 

For portability of installed devices, you could use some 3 outlet boxes like from Radio Shack. If you want to power them straight off the battery for noise filtering, just use some good quality fuse holders right @ the battery. Tuck the boxes up under the dash. That way if you want to take the device with you, you can just unplug the power cord.
