there are 2 at my local JY from what i have been told those who dont have/Want A/C and are into trail riding grab the Alternator bracket because it moves it to the top pass side vs stock location all the way at the bottom where it can get wet or damaged.............ill take my chances...

Yeah, my wife kind of got ripped off on hers. She bought it without me (an ASE certified mechanic) looking at it for $10,000 back in 2003. My wife thought she was getting a "good deal" and "helping" a "friend". Needless to say, once the check cleared she never spoke to the woman again! It was beat up to say the least. The girl that owned it before, her husband fancied himself to be a mechanic. All I can say is, I'm glad he never touched anything electrical!!! We have so much time and money into it, we can't sell it. As much as we'd love a new 4dr JK RHD and I'd love to drive the Cherokee to the beach during low-tide as far as I can go and leave it, it just doesn't make financial sense unless I can find another "sucker" to make it worth our while.
