Default Possible Loose Wheel U-Joints?

When I turn either direction I hear a clank in a continues interval but only when I turn. I was told it could be the wheel u joints. Any other guesses??

they are EXTREMELY easy to check. Get down in front, grab ahold of the axle on each side of the joint, and twist.

Any movement whatsoever means the joint is bad.

could also be the hub bearings
