So, after making a hard u turn, my jeep puttered and stalled at the light. I had this problem last week too, I replaced both the throttle position sensor and idle solenoid. It seemed to fix the issue. Honestly now I just think it was sitting and cooling off for more than an hoe while I fixed it. So right now I'm sitting letting it cool off. Any ideas? It has gas to the fuel rail, intake is clean and both parts are new, but WHEN U START IT UP, IT GOES TO 1000rpm, not 750, and then dies within a minute. Sounds electrical, but what else controls air and fuel? I'm getting bad gas Mileage too if that helps.

 

need more info. does it just cut out and die, or does it chug, and sputter and eventually die? does it do this when you are driving? if so does it make a popping noise like a backfire and hesitate? thanks.
