Not on the 98 Cherokee. They are non adjustable and already set from the factory on 1991 and later models..

I Took the Jeep to my buddy's garage yesterday. We Checked for Vacuum Leaks there were none. We Put it on the $10,000 computer system. The computer said EVERYTHING is working properly. but the computer did say carbon build up. So we did a Justice Brothers E-Vac Kit through it. Now the Jeep Does not bog down anymore, and runs nice.....

It Was the Justice brothers 3 part E-vac Kit. You put 1 can in your gas 1 Can in your oil and 1 can in through the Vacuum line. and It cleans and Removes all the Carbon build up out of Everything. Very Good Stuff...

I was wondering what kind of machine you put it on and then thought it must be a state inspection machine. I assume it had the hydrocarbon count ect...?

Default Same problem

Dude! I have a 98 2dr and had the same damn issue! That drove me crazy for a while, but what fixed mine was new spark plugs, wires, k&n filter, and I also ran two bottles of Lucas injector cleaner. Since then, It's been running like a top. Hope this helps.

I bet he did all this an forgot to reset the computer! Disconnect the battery and let it drain out. Then drive about 40 or so miles with idling and mild high accelerations. Your computer doesnt know you changed the items and hasnt updated the information it got.

I do disconnect The battery while putting any New electrical parts on the Jeep and I did drive at 40 MPH so the computer would acknowledge the New IAC and other parts and the Jeep Still did the same thing...
