You are turning the tie rod and not the drag link?

depends lol can either be the driver side or passenger. right now i took the tires off and adj trackbar and lowered the axle. i have it drooping as much as it can. do i install the trackbar now while it is drooping?

i have the key in and i measure front toe in into 1/8 but the front isnt aligned? since they are different axles does that mean the they will measure differently?

ok first of all to do the alingment the tires should be with the xj on the ground then start it up and get the wheels even by turning the steering you say you have one pointing out and one straight bring the wheel that out in some which will make the straight one go out get the as even *** possible they both should be pointing out a little .then turn the tie rod so they both start to come together with the steering unlocked set your 1/8 in closer in the front then the rear,n tighten the adjuster bolts back down then loosen the grag link and turn it your steering wheel will come back straight

the reason i dropped it was cust the axle wasnt center. the driver tire stuck out an extra 1/2" so i drooped axle. do i install the trackbar NOW with it DROOPED. or do i do it when the tires are on? the axle moved a little to the and now i needa readj. my trackbar so i think the axle is now center. sorry if this questions have been repeated. i just need get it fixed so i can drive to school and cus this is MY only vehicle.

put the wheels back on and drop the xj then you can start the xj and turn the body over the front axle with the steering wheel you need to measure from the frame to inside of tire and make both side even then adjust the bar to the bracket
