OK... 1) STOP WITH ALL THE LUBES AND OILS... Belt dressing wd 40 and other things are called lubricants... Belts need to grab the pulleys... Putting any kind of lubricant on the belt will cause slippage between the belt and pully and will only be a short temporary fix and then It will COMEBACK even worse....... If you really have been putting this stuff on your belts. your seriously screwed... You need to go to the local self serve carwash, bring a bucket with a couple sponges. And oil eliminating dish soap. Use the high pressure spray gun along with the sponge and dish soap to clean SCRUB the belts and pullys, do it with it on and off. You will spend at least an hour to fix this problem. If u have a new belt and it is PROPERLY adjusted. It will Not squeke or make noise... UNLESS u still have oil or belt dressing or any other lube on it .... Everyone that suggesting to put lubericants on the belt... Look at what your saying.. lube on a system the requires grabbing and friction... Proper adjustment and a new clean belt and CLEAN pullys... Will not make any noise . Proper adjustment is hard to do.. just being tight doesn't mean its right... Even dealer mechanics have a hard time with belts.... And never ever use belt dressing on a serp belt.. never In a car.. period...even thou it says its safe to do so..that product needs to be removed from the Damn market. What a scam.

Your belt tension is wrong. After it warms up,(the belt) the squeak stops. The longer you drive it with it squeaking, the more it will ruin your belt. If you look back in the thread you will find the tool you need to check the belt tension.

Belts get warm, due to friction (good thing) as long as theres no lube on there ... Lol but if they're improperly adjusted they will squeal when expanded. So just gota get the tension perfect.

Shouldn't be able to turn the belt more than half way with your fingers is what I hear.

^^^^^ yup most agree no more than 90 degrees but as mentioned it sounds like you need to do as recommended and clean everything up real good first than start all over
