Get a used clockspring.. Many people have them on here for under $50 and a TPS is about $30 from any parts store

I am in Canada, TPS are selling for $80 up here, and the only JY XJ that I know of doesn't have cruise control. Huge price difference if you have cruise

cleaned the IAC and tested the tps with a digital multimeter, seemed to transition fine. also cleaned the throttle body and it still does it. i got a video to put up

watch the fuel pressure when you do that

either the sensors are not detecting the change in air flow or the fuel system can't keep up with the change

could the tps still be bad even though the voltages seemed fine? BTW i just remembered that this started happening after the cam synchronizer ate the cam sensor so i had that entire shaft replaced. I did tune it in for the timing.
