What is the name of the plate between the engine and tranny? and where can I get a new one

I need the top piece, it got screwed up when i pulled my tranny.

The junk yard here had one but it is trashed too

Are you talking about Part # 1? They are calling it a Convertor Housing Spacer. Try calling a dealer.

i need on as i took the the motor from a grand and used my old 1 for core and the plates are diff.
i was wondering if one plate fits all, i mean the 1 that is for the xj as i found on on ebay
