My pinion seal has been leaking so I bought a new one part # 470331N. After replacement it leaked worse. I purchased another of the same seal since all three parts houses in the area day it is the only owns they show. I placed the seal on my yoke, and there is a considerable gap between the seal and yoke. Has anyone had this problem before and if so what seal was used.

 

Well you obviously have the wrong seal, because that seal looks like one for a Chrysler 8.25 which has a bigger yoke since it's far superior to the boat anchor Dana 35

 

Actually it is the correct seal for a stock 35. Fortunately for me the previous owner upgraded to the hd yoke kit with u bolts. I was unaware of this fact previously. So I ordered a seal that should work and I will find out on Thursday for sure. Thank you for your response I appreciate the help.
