lol... yeah i know... right now if you ride in the front your good besides alittle mist coming in from a wet road... Im used to riding 4wheelers in the mud so it wont be so bad in the jeep when it gets a mud bath... lol... got all the holes popped and ready to spray out... as long as i keep the doors on i should be alright anyway.. lol

Looks great, now just trim the fenders and upgrade the axles and you'll be able to drive it again

Looks good, I hope you are swapping to better axles front and rear. Also might want to lower it, that thing is tall.

Yeah, I just dropped a small fortune on the lift, rims, tires, and tint. I put the Rustys rear bumper on, off of my 4 door. Soon, I am transfering the Rustys Stinger front bumper and the winch from the 4 door to the 2 door. Future plans include bigger axles and some steering components. First I have to get the alignment done, rear driveshaft, and trim the fenders up a bit. I just thought that I would show it off a bit. This was its first trip out of the shop and around the barnyard, front wheel drive only.
I purchased the Jeep at the local Goodwill auto auction for $375, sold the 5 factory rims and tires for $175, and sold the rear bumper for $25. The paint is Rustoleum Semigloss black, rolled on, thats right I said rolled on, and it looks real good for $14. The Cherokee is a Laredo, one previous owner, 122K miles, rust free, clean interior, 4.0 automatic.

Isn't that just a short arm with drop brackets, or does the height throw things off for proportion? Looks cool though! I wouldnt be using them blocks in the back either....I cant stand them things, not near as strong as just springin it, but otherwise thumbs up. Keep us posted on the progress.

The lift is the Skyjacker long arm 8". The extra lift comes from 2 1/2" spring spacers in front and 3" blocks in the back. I am building this for long trails, street driving, and camping in it. I wanted the extra lift for added weight for gear and winch. I have a 4 door for more hard core trails.
