Peugeot tranny clutch adjustment
on my 88 cherokee the clutch pedal seems to be loose almost. the first 1/2 you push down the pedal its not engaging at all and when i push it to the floor its still a pain in the *** to get in and out of gear. clutch isnt slipping or anything but is there a way to adjust the pedal and if so, how do you do it

There is no adjustment.
Check the fluid level? If it's low put dot3 brake fluid in it. If thats not the case then
your slave cylinder or master is most likely weak and going bad.
It's usually best to change both at the same time and since the tranny has to come out to change the slave it's a good time to check the clutch for wear.
Moved to oem btw.
