I have been reading about oil and I know a lot of people are going with synthetic, but My local aco hardware store has Peak Motor oil on sale for $2.29 a quart and i know it is dinosaur oil, but that is very cheap.
Any thoughts about using this oil, I read the Bob the oil guy web site and he pushes synthetic but for the price oil changes get pricey.
I also read that the weight is key and he said 5-20 is the perfect weight, should i do 5 qt's and then a quart of lucas or such. or just go with the full oil change?
Thanks
Rich

Not worth trying to save $ on oil. Pointless. I use to use only Castrol or Quaker State (higher grade crude). Now I only use Castroil. And I am VERY cheap, I do it to save $.
