I am the owner of a 90 XJ 2 door. I just picked up an 86 Cherokee Chief 4 door parts vehicle.

The 86 has the vent(wing)windows that open in the front doors.

My 90 Doesnt have this option and its HOT inside when I drive.

Will the vent windows off an 86 4 door fit my 90 2 door?

I ask because I know the doors on a 4 door are a different size than a 2 door.

Anyone know if this is a direct swap? Or are the the sizes of the glass in the vent windows different?

What about the rear diff on this Chief? Is it likely a standard Dana 35? Could it be a Dana 44 or an 8.25?

If it is a D35(Which I suspect) is it the C clip or non C clip version.

What kind of gear ratios were available for a Chief with a 5 speed and 2.8 V6?
