I have a 99 Cherokee Classic and I'm wanting to take the stock front and rear fender flares off. Also the front and rear bumber ends. Has anyone done this? I took off the front passenger flare and saw that the mounts were bolted into the fender, which will leave 4 or 5 holes showing. I'm just curious if anyone has taken the flares off and what it looks like now. Thanks.

A lot of people have done this. This is what mine looks like. You can trim yours how you see fit. There are posts here that explain it.

COS, That is the look I'm trying to get. I don't want any flares, but I want the fenders to look straight. Thanks for the info. Any advice before I start?

Pull the flares and use a Sharpie to get your lines right. Take your time, once you cut it's a done deal. Always keep that in mind.

What about that little diamond shaped foam looking piece that blocks the space at the rear of the fender (close to your doors), you can actually look through the fender there. Do i need to have anything there for protection? Im not sure what purpose it served, but i have removed the linings also, and those foam pieces.

Lil Red goes in Friday.
Concerned about the 1 1/4" of tread sticking out past flare.
Cannot say anything about the rest of him.
NEW: rims, tires, front shocks, rear shocks, rear springs, front brakes, rotors, rear brakes, drums, brake adjusters, brake hardware kit, e-brake cables, muffler, catalytic converter, tailpipe, ALL exterior bulbs, wipers, front floor, rear floor, rear view mirrors, and rear brakeline extension bracket.
And lest we forget: A new EMPTY wallet.
