i havent really done or posted much on here but i lost my job and have to sell or part out my jeep and i was wondering if anyone can help me out. i want to part it out but i dont know how much individual parts would be i have an 87 country cherokee bone stock automatic two wheeled drive any ideas on how much i should charge for parts being parted out on my jeep? any help is much appreciated. not sure if this is the right thread for this kind of question.

 

1. You could advertise it on eBay and get rid of the whole thing in one swoop. Or Craigslist or your local paper.

2. Scrap value is about $250.

3. Your local laws may not allow a non-running partial vehicle in your area. Check first.

4. Individual parts prices are too numerous and variable to list here. It all depends on the buyer and seller.

5. If it runs and drives, don't just sell it for parts. Put it in the ads for $1250. Someone will call.

 

Go to rockauto and price the part you're interested in selling.

Subtract 70% from that number then list it for sale. Done.

Granted, parting a vehicle is certainly not a fast way to make money.

I mean, you really don't have a whole lot that would be desirable. What rear axle is in it?
