Default Part hoarding? which ones?

like the title says, do yal hoard parts? If so which ones do you "hang on too" as you tell your wife?

Reason I ask is because over the years Ive learned certain parts are worth buying/keeping regardless of weather you need it or not.

Im new to the jeep/Mopar world and not too sure on what parts I should scoop up if I see. doesnt really need to be "jeep" related per say either..but preferred. just those odd ball parts really.

kinda like proportioning valves from the 80's Iroc Z with rear disc brake.. sure adjustable ones are avalible and are cheap enough, but GM dont make them any more, nor does anyone else and for the OEM guys...there worth some coin...and for the monte guys there nice too! lol

Just wanted to get some thoughts..jeeps are easy enough to come buy round here usually in good condition and few a few bucks I could hoard a lot of select items. lol

Jeep parts? Hoo boy.

1. Anything electrical
2. Anything that rusts

Banjo bolts for the calipers are a pain in the *** to find.

Yep. This summer I was offered a 1998 XJ for scrap price. 220k KM on it, clutch was like 4000 KM old. Floors and rockers rusted right through so the dude was going to scrap it. Oodles of parts there! Unfortunately I am out of driveway space.
