Parking Brake Assembly
Hi Guys,
This is my first post on the forum. I have an issue with my parking brake handle in my 97 XJ. The ratchet assembly in the parking brake handle seems to be shot and if you bump the parking brake lever at all, the whole thing falls and disengages the brake. Another strange symptom is when the parking brake is on the brake light doesn't come on in the gauges. Anyone know where to buy another one or how to fix it?

Hmm will have to try the junkyard next time I'm out that way. My Dad must have been hard on the handle when he drove it
