Default Parasitic Battery Draw

I have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport. Lately, I have been having problems with my battery dying while my car has been off. I brought it in to the Jeep dealership and they did a battery draw test on it. They told me that they did not find a draw, and that the reason my battery would drain so fast is because it was never fully recharged. After leaving the dealership (battery fully recharged), my car started fine every time for about two weeks. Yesterday, I went to start my car and the battery was dead again. This is not a battery issue because I just bought a new one a couple months ago. Please help, this issue is so annoying! I am tired of jumping my car every time that I want to drive it.

You can do the test yourself and it is pretty easy. Here's a video on how to do it.

Four possibilities:

1) There in an Ignition Off Draw.
2) The battery is bad.
3) You are taking short trips, and the battery is never recharged and is slowly dying.
4) Your charging system is not charging the battery.

If the dealership is correct - no IOD - then have your battery and charging system tested at a parts store. Let us know what they say, and we'll go from there.
