I am contemplating getting my 1995 jeep cherokee sport painted. It is my daily driver b/c believe it or not my other car gets much worse gas mileage! I won't dump a lot of money into the paint job as it is an older car I have found a local place that will color match for $250. I'm sure its an inferior paint job question is do you think its worth it?

 

i spent $135 on paint, thinner and harnder and nothing on supplies as i had sand paper, tape and a gun


you can paint it at home for $250. a cheap gun will work just as well as a pricy expensive one, just keep it clean.


it is all about prep work

and most shops charge $250 just to spray down color let alone do everything....
