Just remember with painting the #1 rule: You get out what you put in. the nice thing about black paint is black is black. One option is dupli color Paint Shop its laquer with a good amount of prep, a paint gun, and compressor you can do it youself its like $22 qt +/- and has clear coat as well laquer dries fast so if you get a gravity indicator it can be fixed easy just do it before you clear it. with just a door a qt of each should be more than enough. that way you can touch up other areas too. Oh yeah this paint is pour and spray no reducing just stir it first.

Found it.

Here's the thread where you can see what happens if you try to shoot good paint over rattlecan:
http://www.honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2490171

Every paint tested lifts when he tries to use common automotive sealers over it.

Now, I've seen some amazing $50 rattlecan paintjobs, but this is just something to be aware of if you're going to go that route.

another option call your local community college auot body dept. when I went to welding school people would bring stuff in to be welded, they usually only charged for materials, they might paint it for cost of materials

Mopar had spraycan touchup available, give the dealer a call and see if you can track some down. I used it on a buds rig, replaced the fender with a quick sand and shoot.
