Default p0432, just replaced the o2 sensor

i got a code for the bank 2 sensor 2 o2 sensor the other day, so I swapped in a new NTK o2 sensor. The wires on the previous one were broken, so obviously thats why it was throwing that code. Just this morning the CEL came back on so I took it to get read again. It's showing p0432. From what I're read here so far is that its a bank 2 catalyst inefficiency. Gas milage is crap right now, tailpipe is black with soot also. There isn't a stutter that I notice while driving. Could the rear cat need replaced? I also believe I have a small vacuum leak towards the fire wall. I saw a thread here last week that said it was a bolt on the intake manifold that was loose. He described the noise to the T of what mine was doing. So even if it is the cat that needs replaced, can you replace only 1 since the front and back are one whole assembly?

My '00 threw the same code after I replaced all 4 sensors. One of the explanations that I came across was a new downstream sensor in combination with an old upstream sensor.

I would replace the other three before I started looked at changing the pre-cats.

That's what I was thinking. Damn O2 sensors are too finicky. Guess I better buy 3 more NTK sensors.

Or would I be able to get by with changing the upstream sensor on that same bank?
