Default P0302 Code

Hello guys, I got this code today but let me elaborate, on Thursday I installed new water pump because it got stuck, Friday I started the engine and I noticed the misfire but 30 seconds after it worked no misfire, today I again started the engine the misfire was there this time stood with the misfire, I installed new spark plugs it didn't help since the engine over heated on Thursday because of the water pump I got the impression is a blown head gasket, I checked fuel injectors, fuel pressure all good. Any ideas? Thanks in advance TP

Welcome to the forum.

What engine? What year?

There are kits the allow you to check for combustion gasses in the coolant. This will tell you if you have a bad head gasket, cracked head or block. I just got one on Amazon; $30 shipped. Tried all of the parts stores near me and not one of them carried it.

It was pretty easy to use. Gave me the bad news that I need to pull my head to find out if it's the block, gasket, or head.

Weird. When I looked at your post your post count showed 1.

Oh, well!

Anyway, do a compression test and the exhaust gas test.

Hello, thanks again, I can check the compression, just need to figure it out where is the compression test tool lol, today I noticed on the ODO no bus warning then all started to work.
