My buddy has an 01 XJ Sport with stock steering 31 A/T's and 3" lift. We were in the woods doin some snow wheelin and he got stuck in a ditch. As I was pulling him out he had his wheels cut left (i dont think they were at full lock) and all of the sudden the p/s system sounded and felt like it had no fluid in it. There was a bunch of p/s fluid on the ground and by the time I got under the hood it had finished sharting itself so i couldnt pin point where the stuff got out (not all of it got out though, the resivoir wasnt completely empty)! Got it home and today i filled it up with some more fluid and it cycled and sounded fine. No problems no leaks. IM STUMPED It didnt overflow out of the cap, it was clean. My thoughts are it could be one of the hoses but the suspect would be the return hose.. or the seal on the steering box where the steering shaft goes in. But like I said. Today I filled it up and it drove and sounded fine....
