Ya that's what I am wondering. It got hot the other day and started to buck real bad. I obviously shut it down and let it cool off. When I cranked it back up it had some smoke coming out of the tail pipe. It runs great though until it gets hot. And there's no more smoke coming from the tail pipe. Anyway to find out for sure?

The smoke was white and gray. I actually decided to change the oil in the process of all of this and it was very dark and rather thin. When I touched it, it was a dark amber. The fresh 10 40 oil in now seems to be still clear. I have since wired the electric fan up to constantly run and it seems to be working. I'm not going over 210. I drove it for 20 min and let it idle for another 20 and it did not pass 210.... I hope it holds up. The fan is just temporarily jumped just so I could test it. If it holds up I need to figure why my electric fan is not operating correctly. The motor in the fan is fine.
