I have a 98 Xj that has been sitting for a few years. I have started a build and an overheating Issue is standing in my way. It overheats slowly whether I drive slow, fast or let it idle. I have done a e-fan swap with a manual switch for the main fan and the aux. New 195 thermostat and housing. I have done a radiator flush with all new fluid. I got alot of rust out of the reservoir so I can only assume alot came out of the radiator during the flush. Do you think it's the water pump or radiator?
Thanks
Thanks
did you flush the radiator itself with the bottom hose off to check the flow? try squeezing your bottom radiator hose and feel if the internal spring is still there and in one peice. are you getting proper heat through your heater core?

I did not check flow through bottom hose but I am getting proper heat from heater core. Ill check for the spring tomorrow. Wouldn't that just be for high RPMs so the hose doesn't collapse on itself?

If springs there means hose is factory. You wont find them any more. Factory installed to prevent collapsing during coolant fill using suction process.
