overheating help
So the other day on my way to work my temp gauge was at like 100 after driving like 5 miles then a mile later it went up to 200 then 2 miles later it was at 260 so i pulled over and opened the hood and nothing wrong so i figured when i got home id put a new thermostat in it. wel the next day i was out and it seemed to do the trick until all of a sudden i got white smoke barreling from the engine and under the hood you could see it was coming from the thermostate/ water pump area, so changed the water pump and i just test drove it and didnt even make it 2 miles and the same thing happened and the white smoke is still comin from the same place
