I have a 1988 Jeep Cherokee Lmtd and I was driving home from work yesterday when all of a sudden the jeep stops and smoke starts coming out from under the hood. Now at the time it was probably 90degrees+ outside and i had my ac on full blast. So i was only a few blocks from home and was able to start it back up 5-10min later and pull it into my drive way when before i could take the keys out it turned off on its own again.

I have antifreeze/oil. Now the thing that worries me is this morning i went out and turned it on again and tried revving it a bit and the temp gauge shows fine, but at one point during the revving i took my foot off the gas and it was still accelerating. And i opened the hood and the whole engine was smoking and what seemed to be oil burning.

Now I would take it to the shop but being the 4th and all everywhere is closed and I don't know anyone that is familiar with cars. So if you guys could point me in the right direction here I would highly appreciate it! Thanks!

By "antifreeze/oil" you mean you have antifreeze IN your oil?

Okay, so i found the issue. The radiator looked full... actually wasn't... threw some water in and drove it around the block and it ran fine xcept when i got home noticed all the water was dripping out... tried seeing where it comes out of but cannot pin point it. Looks like from the engine (God i hope not) but gotta bring it in the shop i guess and put it on the lift.

When you say "from the engine" what part? If it's the front, it's probably leaking out of the seap hole of the waterpump.
