Recently I have noticed when I am driving say..30mph the jeep will drop into o/d, then it will come out of overdrive and it seems as though it doesnt know where it needs to be. I have replaced the TPS and rebuilt the NSS. I was looking into replacing the solenoids. Any thoughts? Thanks.
possible bad transmission speed sensor. if i remember correctly it is located on the driver side of the trans toward the top toward the rear if thst makes sense. it senses the ouput shaft speed of the trans and has to do with what speeds the torque converter locks and unlocks. it sends a signal to the tcu, which then sends a signal to the torque converter solenoid.
