I have run into quite the dilemma concerning my upper shock mounts on the rear end of my XJ. They seem to REALLY enjoy their current home and do not want to come out. I have already busted the head off of 3 of the four and the fourth just rounded off instead of breaking like his brothers and sisters did. Anyone have any brilliant ideas to get the stubborn things out?

 

Do you have access to a air hammer? Ive seen some just knock them out with a large punch or even drill them out if no air hammer around.. but here is a vid on the fix.
