I was being dumb and went across a rutted track at 90 degrees in a stock 96 XJ. The sides were about 1 1/2 - 2ft grassy banks, quite vertical. The towbar took a bit of a bang but seems perfectly fine, the front right bit on the front bumper had some mud/turf on it showing it had made contact.
Everything was great until I got home and there's steam coming out of the front
There was coolant dropping from the front right until the engine cooled down and the leak seems to be coming from the far right (driver's side in the UK) of the rad. Possibly between the rad and the smaller one (trans cooler?) on the front.
I'm confused - the vehicle took a bang but it is completely straight with no panel damage at all. The front grill/bumper etc are all perfect still. What damage could I have done to cause the leak?
