Ongoing heat and a/c issue, maybe (hopefully) related
Because i removed my actuator and stuffed my hand up there. Pieces of the shaft fell out.
Heat works with the force of a thousand suns if the blend door is moved manually to the correct position. Wouldn't be surprised if a/c started working again, too.
Anyways, i ordered the HeaterTreater kit for $120.

Yeah, now i just have to convince the wife that diagnosing it was really complicated and took many hours. :P
Because well.... heat hasn't worked the entire time we've had it and she hates being cold in winter.
Whoops.

Update:
I'm losing my mind over this.
Replaced blend door with the HeaterTreater kit, install went fine. Little annoying to do with the seat still installed, but now i know for next time.
So now... let's reiterate. I have:
1) A perfectly clear and not-leaking heater core
2) Brand new radiator
3) Brand new verified working thermostat
4) Every coolant hose on there is brand new
5) A working HVAC panel
6) A working blend door motor
7) A blend door that's moving just fine
And the heat STILL SUCKS. The jeep is making it up to operating temperature just fine, the blend **** will now give me a difference between cold and hot, but unfortunately, it's "Cold and Lukewarm At Best."
I have no idea what to do at this point.

Try this:
It will eliminate any possibility that the AC is kicking on and diluting the heat.
Remove the connector from the Low Pressure Compressor Cycling Switch on top of the AC Accumulator.
Now you can make any selection on your Mode Selector without having AC.
Try recirc air - first selection up from OFF (O). This will bring in cabin air, as opposed to outside air.
Until I can get an AC bypass switch wired in, I now I have my connector removed and do enjoy having all the mode selections.

AC Accumulator is the cylinder-looking thing in the back of the engine bay, passenger side? (I don't "speak" A/C, i normally remove it from every vehicle i've ever had)
I'm pretty sure it's not kicking in, because i'd hear/feel it, but stranger things have happened.

I had no idea there was a way to choose recirc vs. cabin air on these. o_O

Still sucks.
All i can think at this point is that when the core was replaced, it was with some cheapass Spectra piece of junk with less fins, less heat transfer.
Thoughts?
Anyone have the OEM part number? I'm tearing my dash out on Sunday and would like to have an OEM core on hand.

Are you sure that the Blend Air Door fix you put in is working properly.
Are you sure the BA door actuator/motor is assembled properly - full travel hot/cold?
