Default which one?

Im looking to buy my first cherokee. I've found two, one is a 2000 cherokee sport in good shape but needs new tires. The second is a 95 cherokee sport high output, which needs a new exhaust system and some other odd work. Other then that they are pretty much in the same condition. which one should i get? any info a newbie might be forgetting?

the prices are pretty close? i'm assuming the 2000 is more? if the jeeps are comparable i would think the 2000 would be a better deal...and check the floors for rust, they're infamous for it,at least in my neck of the woods

To me if the 2000 is nice and slick and not super high mileage I would go for it..Although I prefer the older ones for 1 reason no air bags..I hate air bags but that's just me..

Still don't know the milage?? If the 95 has fewer miles I'd go for it. It is a better starter for future mods, if that is your plan. If your just looking to keep it stock then I'd say pick the one with fewer miles and or better service history. As far as which one is better, they were both good. They each have pros and cons.

If your in high school i would go with the 1995 if it aint in too bad of shape, cause you being young your insurance will be high!
