Oldman EMU owners
I got an Oldman EMU suspension kit off a rolled cherokee in a junkyard. The rear axel was already taken so I was unable to grap the Ubolts or see if it had and axel degree shims.
It is a semi custom kit made to with sand the weight of a heavy set of bumpers ect. But it is still the 3 inch lift. (I actually talked to the guy who's jeep it was).
I was wondering if any of you guys have a degree shim in the rear or not. My current Pro Comp kit doesn't have any shims so I just need to know if I need to buy some or not.
Thanks

if you have a TC drop a SYE
the best way is to check the angle of you TC
and set your pinion angle 1 degree less on a non CV shaft
and on a CV shaft you need to set the pinion to 1 degree less that the drive shaft angle

Old Man Emu suspension
I put together my OME kit for my 93 XJ with Grand Cherokee front coils for about 1 inch more lift and XJ medium lift leaf springs in the back. I netted about 3.25 inches of lift total with this setup and I actually installed the Rubicon Express TC drop that I picked up for $20 new on Craigslist. I did not use any shims and have not noticed any vibration. It's first offroad trip with the lift installed will be taking place in about 2 weeks from now at Tierra del Sol.
