ok so new issue

Default ok so new issue

Notice when I am slowing down from around 40 and just coasting down I hear almost a high pitch noise. Almots dsounds like music. Not sure what it is any ideas?

you dont hear it when you have your foot on the brake? when coasting, shift it into N and see if you still hear it.

yeah just when coasting no foot on the brake. If it goes away when in nuetral. tranny?

Ok so went for a ride no change in noise when in nuetral or in drive. I might just be looking for sounds since i just picked her up. Have to bring to th emechanic but I like knowing what things are and i have always found not just one person had one noise. If I have it or you have had a noise someone before you had the same thing..

oh believe you can drive yourself crazy trying to figure out every little noise with these things. sometimes you cant even really diagnose it until it becomes a big problem. is it effecting the performance of the jeep?

not that i can tell running the same. i guess I just need to turn the radio up louder. It is a crazy sound almost like a whistle high pitch sound and driving me nuts.. I will have my mechanic look at it I guess

Your Cherokee makes noises, weird.

Just kidding. Jeeps are noisy rigs . Try driving it without carpet for a while, that will really drive you nuts. You'll think the thing is falling apart as your driving down the freeway.

Yeah I know noisey jeeps. Just hate the whines and whistling. well bringing in for complete oil change out lets see what the mechanic says about all of it

93 you think so as i come off the gas and just coast down a vacuum leak would make that noise. I guess so. will attempt to find it
