I found out that the 15x7 soft 8's weigh about 26lbs. Do any of you think they weigh more or less than the stock steelies.

Couple pounds more as they are wider and probably more surface area between the hub and lip.

They will actually be about the same weight since they are 15x7's.

When I took my factory steel wheels off, I weighed them both. I don't remember the weights, but the Cragar Soft 8's I put on my Jeep in a 15x8 were about a pound more than the factory wheels.

Thats nice to know.

What do you think would be a good backspace for daily driving and a 3" lift. Keep in mind that i am keeping the 235's on it.

Just tring to decide. I don't want a real wide stance but i want it to be stable and conformed looking. maybe paralell with the flares.

Its hard to find pics of 3" with the 235 duratrac. So i'm just trying to get an idea.

As a matter of fact i haven't seen any 3" with 235 duratracs.lol.

So thanks for the help. i do appreciate.

I was going to ask how this was related to anything hardcore, and in all honesty still reallly cant figure it out. BUT...

You mentioned Duratracs so you're obviously a very smart individual, and I think that shows your classy.

Lmao, it's all good, that should work fine.

Haha....I just wanted to get your attention.lol

Well hard core in the sense that those of you who answered me would know what the diferent bs would look like on my application. Or attleast be able to visualize it for me.

I'm thinkg 3.75 might be to much and 4 - 4.5 might be the way to go.

Ya, you should probably stick to 4-4.5 if you don't want a real wide stance.

If you go with a 12.50 wide tire, you will want a 4" backspacing on your wheels.
