Look at this image and you'll see a fill plug. Pull that and the fluid should be at the bottom of the hole. >

If it's leaking where the drive-shaft comes out of it, you can remove the d.s., then remove the seal and install a new one.

ok, i found sometime to check the cause of leak. two sources has been found.
1. oil filter. i dont know why but it was wet. checked level of oil it was ok.
2. i found pipes and hoses going to transmission cooler was wet. i checked ATF level it was less than it should be, i added ATF. actually there was no change in AT performance or behaviour.

seems i need to check connection between hose and pipe coming from rdiator and transmission.

FYI.

Get some cardboard and out it under your truck when you park. Will give you a clear mark where your leak is.

The wet oil filter could be seepage on the seal, very slow leak, could take a loooong time to see a drop in fluid level with a leak like that
by probably time for a good ol oil change!

i already did. source of ATF seems the metallic parts joining to rubber like thin hoses in front of car. they are attached to radiator somehow.

Just for the record Jeeps do no leak fluids, they only mark their territory.
