Oil Pressure Issues
96 XJ with the 4.0. When I start cold the oil pressure is about 50 at idle and 70 moving. If I'm driving as long as I'm moving the oil pressure will stay high, but if I slow down the pressure drops a little bit and the highest it will go will be about 50. If I come to a complete stop it will drop to about 25 at idle and 40 moving. This is as low as it will go. Is it oil pump related or worse? Thanks.

Oil is probably just warming up and offering less resistance. Those pressures seem fine. I've heard as a rule of thumb you're good as long as you have 10 psi of oil pressure for every 1000 rpms.
